September '18 Shopify Meetup Columbus Recap
The September installment of the Shopify Meetup Columbus had a fantastic turnout. We had a great group of speakers and an incredibly engaged group of attendees. We're proud to play our part in organizing this event to serve the local Shopify community and seeing it continue to grow.
With that said, we would like to thank everyone who attended and to our speakers: Scott Brown, Sam Mundell, and Daniel Steinberg. Also, thank you to our sponsors for their contributions in keeping the meet up growing and doing bigger, better things. We'd like to thank Shopify, .Store Domains, Refersion, Shogun, Mikey's Late Night Slice for the venue and pizza as well as Seventh Sun Brewing and Rhinegeist Brewery for beverages. Also, thanks to Simplr for providing gifts for the attendees.
Be sure to mark your calendars: our next meet up will be November 15th, 2018 at 6pm again at Mikey's Late Night Slice in Downtown Columbus. We hope to see you there.
Scott Brown of Anthony Law LLC., began the night with his presentation focused on intellectual property: "The Risks of Creativity - How to Protect yourself and Avoid Infringing Others."
We were very pleased to host our very own Shopify Partner Manager, Sam Mundell. She provided an insightful commentary on "Unleashing the Power of the 'About Us' Page."
Finishing off the night's speakers was Daniel Steinberg, a freelance Email Marketing Gun-For-Hire. He described the tactics he used to generate over $1MM in Revenue in 10 Months Flat Using Email Automation.
